The Summer School at 82^nd Street Academics provides an eight-week opportunity for students to develop their skills while school is out.

summer 2008

 This year's summer session will start on June 30^th and end on August 22^nd, 2008. Classes will run five days a week for eight weeks (with the exception of July 4th, Independence Day). 82nd Street Academics offers a full-day package as a convenient solution for working families.

summer pre-k

 The Summer Pre-K program at 82^nd Street Academics offers several options for families with younger children. To get all the details on this rewarding program for 3 and 4 year olds follow this link.

academic achievement classes

 The morning session of the K-8 Summer School at 82^nd Street Academics helps children get a head start on the grade that they will attend in the fall using the New York State Learning Standards Morning Academic Classes start at 9:00 AM and end at approximately 12:00 PM. "learning in action" lab

 The afternoon session of the K-8 summer program, our "Learning in Action" Lab, offers an enriching supplement to the morning session. Classes start at 1:00 PM (after lunchtime) and end at 4:00 PM. Students will go on educational field trips as well as enjoy special visitors throughout the summer. high school readiness

The High School Readiness course at 82^nd Street Academics is an opportunity for 8^th grade graduates to use the summer before high school to prepare academically, socially, and emotionally for this major life transition. The class will be held from 9am-12pm, five days a week, at the same time as the Morning Academic Achievement Classes for the K-8 program.
